Heh. I remember my first upgrade ever to my own old HP Pavilion from 2000, when it chugged along at 64 MB. It was all I needed to play The Sims. But every so often it would freeze up and kick me out to the desktop.
Then I had to upgrade the RAM because the expansion pack Hot Date needed 128 MB. I snagged a stick and pushed it up to 192 MB. With the speed, it felt like I'd gotten a new computer.
And it didn't freeze up and kick me out of The Sims anymore. Nope. It just kicked me out like THAT. *snaps fingers*
256 MB. I remember that was the highest level I could upgrade with that old puppy's motherboard. Them wuz the days.
