I've only played WOW once, and it was only to like level 12 or something. . . so i guess i didn't really play it (all the colors and funky icons confused me, i thought i was on acid). And for the longest time I just stayed away from MMO's because . . well because of the people i saw playing them lol . . but i gave Lord of the Rings Online a shot mainly because they're one of the few sets of books that I've ever completed in my life. The game itself is beautiful, especially if you can run it on high with dx10. Throughout the quests and world there are a ton of details that you'd only notice if you knew the books. I guess its cool to have that experience and the chance to explore middle earth since i grew up with the books.

I had some friends who used to play it at the games retail. They both liked it but at the time there was little to no PvE content, personally I tried it and couldnt get into it, but then again WoW was the only MMo I could get into cause ive tried many games from City of Heroes to Warhammer recently and I pretty much quit MMO's wasted 4 years of my life in WoW...

i def try to stagger my time playing . . people make fun of people who play MMO's but it can be very addicting. Falling into this whole different world . . To me personally its no different than people who do nothing but read all day. ive never really spent too much time playing . . maybe 3-4hrs 2 or 3 days out of the week if that.
