Favorite Animated Disney Classic?

It may not seem like it, but once, I was young. Younger. I took rides in the grocery store cart and I used to watch Nickelodeon when they had good shows. And as such, my favorite movies when I was a kid were made by Disney (and Don Bluth). In your honestest opinions, what is the best animated movie disney has made? Just in case any of you need help remembering, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney_Animated_Classics#Official.... My 5 favorite disney movies as a kid were probably:

5. The Hunchback of Notre Dame

One of the darkest Disney movies, where else can you get an evil priest who tries to burn a chick at a stake because he's got some twisted form of attraction?

4. Fantasia

So many good parts, so little time. I still loved the smyphony as a child and I love it today.

3. The Jungle Book

Bear nessecities. The simple bear nessecities.....

2. Aladdin

Some great songs, a great villian, and the only, THE ONLY, movie Robin Williams is in where he doesn't piss me off.

1. The Lion King

This movie is one of the staples of my childhood. I've seen it so many times I can recite most of the lines by memory. Also, Scar is SUCH an evil bastard

So would Pixar still count as Disney or would the more traditional disney pictures fit the bill? Hmm..well I suppose I'll assume Pixar is Disney so here are my picks.

Oh well, might as well add to it.

Here are my 5 favorites.

5.) The Great Mouse Detective- I used to watch the hell out of this movie; yet when I talked to people about it, they say they've never heard of it. Very Underrated, but very good. Vincent Price KICKS ASS as Ratigen!

4.) Alice in Wonderland- I actually did not watch this for years until I met a friend of mine who loves everything "Wonderland". After meeting said friend I went home, popped the VHS in and realized how much of a strange, bizzare, but overall wonderful little movie that it is.

3.) Who Framed Roger Rabbit- People forget that this was made by the Disney Studios. It was and was also a favorite of mine as a kid. Although I have to admit, I did not fully understand what was going on in the movie when I was little. BTW, I know the forum says favorite ANIMATED classic; but hey, there are animated characters and a whole scene in Toon Town!

2.) The Black Cauldron- I loved this movie as a kid! It did not deserve all the crap that it got when it first came out.

1.) Beauty and The Beast- This is, and always will be, my favorite Disney movie. I've posted this on other forums and I'm going to post it here too; Beauty and The Beast is better than The Lion King. In fact, The Lion King is overrated! That aside, BaTB was the one movie I never stopped watching as a kid and still watch it to this day.; ▶ Reply to This

Its dark Disney with a few happy undertones. I like it though. Maybe not one of my favorites but a solid movie for sure.; ▶ Reply to This
