If it's crap... We'll tell you

It may not seem like it, but once, I was young. Younger. I took rides in the grocery store cart and I used to watch Nickelodeon when they had good shows. And as such, my favorite movies when I was a kid were made by Disney (and Don Bluth). In your honestest opinions, what is the best animated movie disney has made? Just in case any of you need help remembering, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney_Animated_Classics#Official.... My 5 favorite disney movies as a kid were probably:

5. The Hunchback of Notre Dame

One of the darkest Disney movies, where else can you get an evil priest who tries to burn a chick at a stake because he's got some twisted form of attraction?

4. Fantasia

So many good parts, so little time. I still loved the smyphony as a child and I love it today.

3. The Jungle Book

Bear nessecities. The simple bear nessecities.....

2. Aladdin

Some great songs, a great villian, and the only, THE ONLY, movie Robin Williams is in where he doesn't piss me off.

1. The Lion King

This movie is one of the staples of my childhood. I've seen it so many times I can recite most of the lines by memory. Also, Scar is SUCH an evil bastard

Fantasia, if only because the finale is fucking amazing.

Am I the only one who thinks Satan in this video looks a lot like Yule Brenner?

Yul Brenner? Yipe!

And THIS is my favorite Disney animated film.

Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite, but the Little Mermaid and 101 Dalmations have always been great for me

Nothing compares to Beauty and the Beast in my eyes. Sure, Lion King was awesome, but Beauty and the Beast remains my best movie experience as a kid. I saw it recently and I still haven't grown out of loving it, where talking lions don't really do much to me anymore.

I don't know if it can be considered a classic, but the Emperor's New Grove is second on my list for the number of lmao moments.

Thank You! Almost all Disney Classics are great but Beauty and the Beast is undoubtedly my favorite. The characters and the story and the MUSIC. All amazing. Plus, as a child seeing walking candlesticks and clocks just blows your mind.

I've always loved The Black Cauldron. About as dark as Disney has ever gone (or will ever go), and I'd like to see them do something else in this vein. It wasn't a huge success because it didn't really follow that 'happy' Disney formula, plus the best part- no superfluous songs!

Of course, Firefly is way up there, but I would really see more of "Jack Of All Trades" (Bruce does not AGE!), The Middleman and The Dresden Files. What about you?
