The only sequel I've ever seen come out of Tim Shafer(?) was one for Monkey Island, and I'm not sure he had anything to do with it as someone else may have owned the rights to that franchise. I know he was working on another game called Brutal Legend, but that was axed because of a merger between Activision and Blizzard, I think. He's looking for a new place to set up shop, but Psychonaughts may have a spiritual successor yet.
I totally agree with you on your choices. Vagrant Story was a great game, and now that Square has added it to a list of games considered to be in the Ivalice Alliance we may actually see a sequel (or a updated version, both work for me). As for Eternal Darkness (it being my favorite horror game) I feel that Silicon Knights should kill the team responsible for making Too Human (or the people who decided that the game should not be tested before it was put on the market) and try to make this game. Again a rerelease (possibly a longer version) would be great. if and only if they made it for multiple platforms. It being on the Gamecube pretty much killed the sales for this game, which saddens me deeply. Nevertheless I do have some of my own choices.
Klonoa: I have the first and second but I really would like a third game.
Tomba!(Tombi!): Same as above
Killer 7: I know the game has a Killer 8 mode but I would like a sequel. Wait how about a prequel? I think that would work better considering the game's storyline.
Jet Set/Jet Grind Radio: I would so love this game to become an Xbox original but a sequel, now that would be even better.
The World Ends With You: Yeah it seems like a fanboyish thing to say but the game's universe can be utilized much more. I mean they expanded Kingdom Hearts why not this game.
Shin Megami Tensei (Original Series): With all the great games Atlus puts out and all the "spoofs" of the Shin Megami Tensei series that are put on the market I think it is about time we return to the roots of the series. The last game we got was Nocturine which was amazing so I think its about time Atlus starts thinking about another game.
Ico/Shadow of the Colossus: With TGS next week and Sony saying they are going to reveal 14 new games for the console we may actually see this one come to fruition. Now all that matters is where exactly it lies on the time line.
Sly Cooper: Same as above. With InFamous about to come out (hopefully) I think Sucker Punch would be wise to return to their famed franchise.
Unfortunately I don't think Tombi/Tomba would get another sequel because the company that made them no longer exist. Klonoa definately needs a sequel though, get to it Namco!.

I know. I KNOW this is so dated, but to be fair, we recorded this in mid November and it apparently took awhile to edit. Listen as I attempt to defend Potter against Twilight's main fan base; did I fail or did I succeed? This is something my school'…
