To me I gotta say I'd do a Gundam Wing game, but along the lines of the old dreamcaste Gundam game or mech warrior. Oh and the only view point you could use would be first person.
Now that I can get on board with. Kind of like a Fire Emblem thing where pilots can die, but not grid based; and you can upgrade your mechs with new parts and weapons; and you can switch out your pilots for more experienced ones whose fighting style is more suitable for the mech.
The pilot can die, or the mech could be destroyed, or both. System specific damage with different effects: damaged legs lowers speed and mobility, damaged arms lowers attack and defense, damaged torso threatens the life of the pilot( assuming that's where the pilot sits, I never paid much attention to the details), damaged head messes with the hud, incoming messages, target lock, etc. Torso would be easiest to hit but hardest to damage. Everything else would be more fragile, but require a higher degree of precision.
Maybe allow for switching between first and third person view, like in racing games, for picky people. I prefer third myself because you have a greater range of vision, allowing you to anticipate side attacks, root out ambushes, etc.
This is for Spillers who like going out regularly like myself. From now on I will regularly organize nights out with other Spillers and we'll do a pub crawl, go bar hopping or go out clubbing. These are not Spill Parties. These are Spill Outs
This is the debut production of JackandZack Films. It's a comedy about a legendary cult-film director, Jack Gattanella, who is making his latest film "Crest of Senses", and taking his two stars Zack and Hayley down into the depths of madness.
After a little editing and a few bottles, Episode 2 is finally up. Like always we talk comics, make fun of shadow, I spill the beans on the reveal in Blackest night issue 5, and of course your questions. Enjoy and dont forget to comment (we need m...
