Look, you can stop asking "Who do you think should be in the next Batman movie?" because we are beyond SICK of that question!!! Just stop it! Enough already!! Basta es basta!
(besides, the obvious answer is Robin an the Joker. Duh!)

However, I will tackle a few of the questions so many of you ask me over and over.

1) What do you consider to be the 'Must-Read' graphic novels?

Here's a good starter list of the Best of the Best (a couple clicks should take you to their Amazon listings)

2) You often mention having worked in the comic book industry. What comics did you work on?

Sorry, I'm not gonna post my resume here, but I freelanced for almost every company at one time or another. Possibly the most famous piece was this Spider-man poster that I collaborated on with Todd MacFarlane (which I stupidly forgot to sign).

3) I'd like to draw comics when I grow up. What books should I buy?

There's so many that can help you (mostly photo reference books), but these are the only books you'll ever NEED:

Let me know if you would like any signatures or any personal requests at NYCC. BTW sorry about the invite to NY B&V.

As a rule, I never advertised the group but I felt, well it Is my 50th (overall) meet up and it's the end of a streak right after my B-day. I always felt, you should end things on a high note and hand off to the rotation of 5 planners a group that is lively and self-sufficient.

That's very generous. I can't think of anything I want but big thanks for the offer.

Dear Leon,

I want to know what was your opinion on the new Thundercats series, and if what happening to DC Nation is the same to what happened TC.

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Sincerely,

NewGuy

Was TC cancelled? I did love (or really like) the show.

It wasn't technically cancelled, it just wasn't renewed and it's current status is "on hiatus", make of that what you will.

Go with Spencer Johnson's reply. All I know now is that they are re-running it on Toonami, and Dan Norton - the head animator - came out and said that they weren't working on it at this time. If Beware the Batman flops, they might go back. Thats all I know.

I loved the show as well, even though there were plot holes that you could put an eight-lane highway through. My only gripe is the constant changing of writers per episode. Thoughts?

Does Guinan from Star Trek TNG count as being under the "magical negro" trope? You would think that she would be but considering she is an alien & her appearance resembling a black woman from Earth is never really brought up in the series she might get a pass.

Finally someone has Stray Bullets on their required reading list, Mr. Leon you have my eternal respect!!

Dear Leon,

I know that you likely answered this before but I hope that you understand my wish to not read through 100+ pages of comments. So here it goes: are you reading any fantastic web comics at the moment?

If I were to recommend anything it would be Go Get a Roomie (NSFW)It is a 4 panel strip that starts out decent and chuckle worthy with a thin plot, but about 30 strips in it becomes a great little story with good jokes.

Dear Leon,

I'm a fan of X-men, but one of my biggest pet peeves is that Wolverine and Cyclops are always at each other's thoats. Is there ever a run when they aren't constantly trying to kill one another?

Season 3 Finale of Boardwalk Empire. Did you catch it? Would you watch an Al Capone vs Chalky White spin off? That show is such a heavy meal that you could easily do 4-5 shows on a couple characters I wonder, is it..its own worst enemy?

Hi Leon It's been a minute since I've posted a question due to college , and I just plowed through all the episodes from august of last year to now. I must ask of your opinion because I didn't hear you guys discuss DC's plan to end new 52 in 5 years when every book reaches issue 52 . With everything picking up from where it left off right after Blackest Night. Here is the link and the details http://www.comicvine.com/news/off-my-mind-the-new-52s-five-year-lim... But since this announcement DC hasn't give the fans a moment to breath with cancellation of "some" good books, writers being changed or leaving the company because of stupid ideas. Like trying to merge more vertigo series into the main universe such as I Zombie and some others as well as gimmicks to make major news and the shear bastardizing of the characters and what they stood for. In response fans haven't stopped calling DC on their bullshit in the fear that this may lead up to them remaking Crisis on Infinite earths. Sorry if that was too long it's been a while since I've done this
