If it's crap... We'll tell you

Reviewing a movie... well I'm going to see Tropic Thunder tomorrow, and since Dark Knight is the only movie I've seen that's still in Theaters, I thought "Why not?"

The Dark Knight continues from where Batman Begins left off.
The movie is dark and gothic, but not as much as Batman Returns.

Anyways, back on subject, Batman is back, and now the Joker wants Batman dead, (Surprise, Surprise, huh?)
It doesn't take a genius to figure out what the plot is if Batman and the Joker are in the same movie.
Even if you aren't familiar with the Batman Franchise, you still have to know Batman and the Joker aren't good news.

The Joker is probably the first subject I should cover since most magazines describe Heath Ledger into full detail and describe his performance.
All-in-all, Heath Ledger put in an excellent final performance, everyone knows him right now as "The Best Joker" and just to clarify this, let me bring up my list of Jokers:

Ceasar Romero: Most Classic Joker
Jack Nicholson: Most Original Joker
Heath Ledger: Most Edgy Joker

There, you have it.
Heath Ledger makes the movie feel like an actual Biography.
If anyone could put in a better performance, you tell me, cause this dude is freakin' SWEET!

While on the subject, this Character goes in deeper to the Joker than ever before.
It's sort of like slitting open the Joker and bringing out the darkest in him.
He's also pretty funny, too.
You'll laugh at the Joker in this movie because he is not only the most darkest character, but the funniest.
ONLY the funniest.

Harvey Dent / Two-face is also explained in here, the effects on him were great and the Character's development is pretty cool.
This hole movie is f**king serious.
When they say "Why So Serious?" It's a hollow threat, not a catch-phrase.

This movie is incredibly serious, if you take anything for granted, you'll most likely not get the point, so pay incredible attention to this movie, and it'll most likely meet or exceed your expectations.
If you don't like this movie, you've either never seen a good movie, or you didn't actually watch it.

Every actor is casted perfectly, Christian Bale does a great job as Batman.
And with that being said I had a few minor issues with the movie that I think could be improved on. Most of which you've probably already heard of.

1. The movie runs way too long. 2 hours and 30 minutes.
2. Batman talks WAAAYYY too exaggerated and soft.
3. That's it...

So, my opinion is that this movie, so far, is the best of 2008, it beats Iron Man by a lot, and it makes "Titanic" look like a joke.
This movie is great to watch in theaters with friends, but this movie is so good, I recommend seeing it and then buying it.

RATING: BUY IT!!!

RATINGS:
BUY IT!!!
See it!
Rent it
See it on TV
Don't see it
