So, when it comes down to 2008, we had some great masterpieces and some horrible pieces of s**t. I'm not giving any names *cough* Meet the Spartans *cough*
Anyways, I'm looking forward to 2009, it looks like we're going to have some interesting movies. So I'm going to list the ones I like / looking forward to.

1. Pink Panther 2:
Okay, I admit the first was funny, I almost pissed my pants when I saw smoke coming out of the main character's pants. The 2nd one, I hope, is good too.
Opening Day: February, 6

2. Friday the 13th:
Wow. They're making a remake? I expect Nightmare from Elm Street to have a remake in a while. Anyways, I couldn't help but put this on the list since it's one of my favorite horror movies of all time.
Opening Day: February, Friday, 13 O_O

3. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li:
Hello? What do we have here? Street fighter, the original movie, sucked. This one might suck or be mildly good, I just want to see what they do with it since Video Game movies are pretty rare and only come around once in a while.
Opening Day: February, 27

4. Watchmen:
I apologize for not putting this on the list before. This movie is based off one of the best Graphic Novels of all time. And it revolves around the Doomsday Clock, or "Minutes to Midnight" if your prefer. It's gonna be good, and everyone already knows that because DC comics have been putting out great movies and if they keep that streak running, no doubt this is gonna be great.
Opening Day: March, 6

5. DragonBall:
Okay, I admit, I've never actually watched the series, I just like the old "It's over 9000!!!" Meme. I'm still going just because if they actually make this a good movie, they at least have to put "Over 9000!!" Cause if they don't, It'll suck.
Opening DAy: April, 10

6. Terminator Salvation:
Hehe. I love Terminator, I'm just a little dissapointed they couldn't get Arnold in it. But at least it's Terminator. If it wasn't I don't think it would get much attention.
Opening Day: May, 15

7. Night at the Museum 2 - Battle of the Smithsonian:
Okay, I did LIKE the first one, so I'm sort of, kinda... looking forward to the 2nd. But come on! Who here doesn't want to be in a life museum!?
Opening Day: May, 22

8. Fast and Furious:
I haven't seen any, but that doesn't change the fact that everytime I saw the Trailer on Youtube, I wanted to get a loan from the bank and buy all of them. If this isn't a good movie, I'll flip out.
Opening Day: June 5

9. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen:
Transformers is the s**t. Ever since it's first in 2007, I've been looking forward to the 2nd. And I hope this is the sequel I've been waiting for. Just tell me that BumbleBee has more screen time than the first... and a bit more Dialogue. Radio doesn't cut it.
Opening Day: June, 26

10. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs:
I loved the 1st and 2nd, and if the 3rd isn't as good, I shall result in Rick-Rolling everyone who works at 20th Century Fox. This thing looked good from the first trailer and I like how they're getting closer to the end of the Ice age.
Opening Day: July, 4 (Sweet)

11. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince:
Okay, I've seen the first four but I have to catch up on the 5th. This looks promising, until I actually see a Trailer, I'll decide if I really, really, truly want to go see this.
Opening Day: July, 17

12. G-Force:
Okay the plot sounds incredibly dumb:
The film revolves around a team of trained secret agent guinea pigs that take on a mission for the US government to stop an evil billionaire, who plans to destroy the world with household appliances.
*Chuckle* I can't help but laugh at HouseHold Appliances. The main characters are Animals though, what do you expect?
Opening Day: July, 24

13. G.I. Joe - Rise of Cobra:
I never really liked G.I. Joe cause I wasn't born the year it was Popular. But I hope they make everything incredibly life-like and Rambo-Ish if you know what I mean.
Opening Day: August, 7

14. Toy story (Re-Release in 3D):
The only reason I'm going to see this is because it's f***ing Toy Story 1 in f***ing 3D! Don't tell me there's anything more badass than that, cause if you do, you're lying.
Opening Day: October, 2

15. Where the wild things are:
I was just going through my collection of Old books when I found this. "Where the Wild things are" and It just so happens that a Film Adaption is being made of it, hopefully they make it longer and better to look at.
Opening Day: October, 16

UNSCHEDULED FILMS:
1. Vacancy 2:
That's right spill Crew. They're making another. But it's unscheduled.

2. The Strangers 2:
OK, I admit that I never saw the first, but I want to see this one a hole lot, which is why I put it on here.

3. Happily Never After 2:
Everyone says the first sucked. But I thought it was decent, I wanna see it now, so bad.

4. Crank 2: High Voltage:
I'm probably going to love this since Die Hard flicks are my choice of film, that's why it's on here.

5. 2012:
In case you don't know, 2012 is supposedly the year the world "Ends" but that's probably fake, anyways this film is going to be based on that. I wanna see how they do it and if the future's not going to be THAT bad.

6. Cats & Dogs 2:
Don't remember it? It was a 2001 American Comedy Film, I happen to have it on DVD and it was just so freakin' funny, especially the part when the cat goes on a complete rampage. In all sense, this could easily be an action movie, if they just made them Humans instead of Animals, but I'm still looking forward to it.

7. Jurassic Park IV:
I really want to see this movie just because I've been a huge fan of this series, the one scene I remember is the 2nd when they're in that car on the cliff, the scene lasts FOREVER. But that's why I liked it so much.

8. The Sims:
Hehe. Another Video Game Movie? Well hopefully it's the last this year. The funny thing is The Sims is a God Game, so this Movie's gonna be a bit confusing to make. I just wanna see their take on it.

9. Warcraft:
Oh, come on. 3 Video Game Movies in a year? At least one has to be cancelled. But this series has been one I wasn't crazy about, all these nerds keep playing it.
"OMG WTF HAX! 1 r t3h Pwnzorz and ur M0m 1s t3h suxorz LOL"
But, I'm looking forward to it just because if it's warcraft, I don't want to be left out.

10. The Legend of Spyro:
Oh... My... GOD... SPYRO!!! I f***in' loved this series! I don't care if it's another Video Game Film, this is gonna be awesome, even if it sucks!

11. Tekken:
*Sigh* Another Video Game Film. It's based off a very popular fighting game. I just wanna see it to see their take on the Characters. It will be incredibly interesting.

12. 24: The Movie:
My Mom made me watch this when I was little and I didn't get it, until today, I love it. So, the movie looks great, I don't even care what everyone says it's gonna be like, It's another Die Hard movie, all the way.

13. Metal Gear Solid:
Ha... bet you didn't see that coming. This series has always been really cool, but it's another Video Game Film... but I like it for a few reasons... One: Christian Bale is going to be playing Solid Snake, and Two: CHRISTIAN F***ING BALE IS GOING TO BE PLAYING SOLID SNAKE!!!

14. Saw VI:
Yay... Another installment. I'm just looking forward to this so I can have bragging rights to my friends.

I might make another telling about movies I'm looking forward to in later years. But this ends the list for now.
BYE.

I have to say it but 2009 is going to suck. A lot of those movies don't look good, shouldn't be made at all or was rushed because of the writers strike.
Watchmen, just started reading it and I am interested in seeing the film.
1. Terminator Salvation
2.Watchmen
3. Transformers 2
4. The Spirit
Where'd you get your information concerning Metal Gear Solid?

Christian Bale as Snake?
I thought you were making movie announcements, not filling out some kind of wish-list.
The only one allowed to play Solid Snake is Kurt Russell!!!!
There was a small article a while back that they were trying to get in touch with him over the part. It was never confirmed and left as a rumor.

http://mgs.moviechronicles.com/2007-09/christian-bale-as-snake/

It is almost as if that is who they based the character off of.
That could be possible. I dont know much about MGS, but considering Escape from New York was before the game, it could work.
It is where they got it from.
After such a great summer, its now going suck again next year. There a few good ones, but I'm not really looking foward this year
Pink Panther 2
The first one was an atrocity.
Steve Martin needs to get as far away from this franchise as he possibly can.
Peter Sellers would be rolling in his grave, if it weren't filled with some veteran's corpse...

Friday the 13th
Fuck Michael Bay. Hard.

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li
Also known as Street Fighter: The Legend Of The Movie No One Saw.

DragonBall
The most enjoyable thing about this movie is how pumped all the DBZ fans were, and then how shocked they all were when production photos were released.
Did they expect this movie to look good or something?

Terminator Salvation
After hearing what McG had to say at ComicCon, I do have some high hopes for this one. At the same time though, he still goes by the name McG...
Hopefully the mere presence of Christian Bale can make up for any subpar directing/writing.... *remembers Shaft and Harsh Times* .... oh...... shit......

Night at the Museum 2
From the makers of Painful Formulaic Piece Of Shit comes Painful Formulaic Piece Of Shit Part 2!!

Fast & Furious 4
Speaking of painful formulaic shit...
... I wonder if this movie will have flashy cars and stupid dialog.
Wouldn't that be a twist!?

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Remember when Transformers was about robots, and not Shia LeBouf being a douchebag with no charisma? Yeah, wasn't that shit awesome, back in the 80's, where it should have stayed?

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Fox teams up with Jerry Bruckheimer and the writers of National Treasure in the latest attempt to rewrite history and turn American audiences in to the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Horrendous Gloriosus Exhibeo!!

G-Force
When Jerry Bruckheimer isn't busy raping history itself, he's making movies like this.
Why exactly is he still alive, again?

G.I. Joe - Rise of Cobra
Stephen Sommers?! Brendan Fraser?! Oh boy, oh boy!! I cannot wait to avoid this piece of shit!!

Where the Wild Things Are
If the Warner Brothers can keep themselves from removing any energy or originality Spike Jonze brought to this project, this film may be one of the very few bright spots in the 2009 line-up.

Vacancy 2 / The Strangers 2 / Happily Never After 2 / Cats & Dogs 2
The 'direct to DVD' shelf at the video store never had so much competition...

Crank 2: High Voltage
The first one was a really enjoyable brainless guilty pleasure.
But I am getting really fucking tired of seeing Jason Statham playing the same character running around without his shirt on... he's become the new Matthew McConaughey...

2012
"The Mayan Calendar ends in five years, and some say it's a prediction of the end of the entire world?! LET'S A MAKE A MOVIE OUT OF IT!!!! Quickly, before Michael Bay finds out!!"
Also, maybe they just ran out of space on their pyramids... or their arms got tired... or they simply wanted to stop writing the fucking calendar already...

Jurassic Park 4
I guess this is and Indiana Jones 4 are Steven Spielberg's way of showing the entire world that he's not above kicking a dead horse...

The Sims / Warcraft / The Legend of Spyro / Tekken
Judging from the current track record of game-to-movie conversions, I can safely say that all three of these are going to be COMPLETELY AWESOME!!1

24: The Movie
I always figured this show was never turned in to a movie not only because the real-time 24 hour concept wouldn't work that well within a two hour film, but also because it would allow critics to say "This film plays like a bad episode of 24- oh, wait- it is a bad episode of 24!! Haw haw haw..."
