I have not read the books, which leaves me at a disadvantage when it comes to knowing all the aspects of the story. But the fact that I have not read the books gives me a lack of bias when looking at the trailer.
The Bad:
The film tone just looks wrong all together. The cameraman must have went to Best Buy for his equipment, because there is an obvious lack of cinematography. The special effects look very bland and the shots were the leading male character jumps from a tree, they might have well have left the wires in the shot because you can still tell. Also if you have ever seen the show Moonlight pay very close attention to the action sequences. The villains in the trailer also seem so uninteresting and it is almost impossible to be afraid of them.
The Good:
Casting looks alright. The main characters seem to hold some chemistry and their acting ablility is not horrible nor is it outstanding.
Summary:
Probably not on par with something like Harry Potter. To me Twilight is striving to be something that could really happen in our everyday world (sort of), but in doing that it lacks imagination and an alternative reality.
At this point reruns of Moonlight look more interesting.
LOL Its like an Abercrombie vs. Hollister movie with hair cuts by Supercuts. A vampier that looks 17, but is a lot older, ok I got a question about that, why is he in high school? "I have all this power! What should I do? I know! SCHOOL!" LAME!!!! And the editing in the trailers was half-assed.
The books were very well written, and the plot was actually pretty good, and to reply to MoonKnight, the only reason why he goes back to highschool is to actually try to LIVE a NORMAL life. Though i prey that they stick a bit with the book, if not then i wouldnt bother with the movies.
Ohhh,we've got a violent one today.If your squeamish,then GTFO(jk,lol).
This week were going to have some vigilante justice with "Akumetsu"!!!!

Instead of opening with a descriptive intro, I've decided I'm going to jump right into the review. Honestly, I found this movie, Brothers, to be very unsettling, solely because of Toby Maguire's performance. One thing about it that gives the mov…
