If it's crap... We'll tell you

Hey Spilled guys!

I was just watching Transformers once again and I liked it as always, but there's always something bothering me at the end of the movie. The song 'What I've Done'. Don't get me wrong, I f*cking love that song, but I just think it's got nothing to do with the story, theme or whatever. Am I completely wrong about this, or was it just put there because it was a big hit at the time the movie was released? The same thing for '9 crimes' in Shrek the Third. Okay, they both fit because it's like the same genre as the movie or the scene, but what about the lyrics? I don't know, maybe you guys do.

See ya next time!

This might just be me, but I always thought the main soundtrack to Chasing Amy didn't fit, giving off a weird Jamie's Got a Gun vibe.

I dont know. Some movies just have random music ques, like Handcock had alot of them. My best guess is its a money thing. Artist may have just paid the director to put thier music in the movie. Or maybe somehow it just made sense to the music director.

I don't know the name, but the song from "The Prestige" End titles is awful, and really out of place with the rest of the movie.

Actually having Linkin Park in Transformers was perfect.
Have a horrible band close a horrible movie.

I don't know why, but I always felt that song suited "Cloverfield" better.

I thought "The Call" was an odd choice for the end of Prince Caspian. I love the song and I thought the lyrics went well with what was going on in the movie, but it felt really modern, and it took me out of the movie for a second.
