If it's crap... We'll tell you

I know it wasn't the greatest but really it wasn't that bad. But i did get pissed about Venom, he should have been in the Movie longer, not 20 minutes. Sandman was done right, and (SPOILER) Harrys death was just okay. Sine Tobey had to have surgery on his back, he couldn't get in to shape like the last two. But the Action was good, the acting wasn't bad, and the Message of the Movie was cool.

It was decent until Peter Parker started acting "cool" because of the symbiote. I know it was supposed to be campy but it was totally cheesy and evidence that Raimi isn't taking the subject matter seriously. It is fine for Bruce Campbell to bring that to one of the Evil Dead movies but when you are making a Spider-Man movie, it justs F's it up.

That pretty much ruined the whole movie for me. It just pissed me off.

It wasn't that bad. It just wasn't that good either. You could see signs of potential in the beginning with how they set up Sandman, Eddie Brock, and even being gutsy by having Harry attack Peter early in the film. The problem was that it didn't live up to it's potential with some cringe worthy moments.

Everyone knows Venom was forced. It showed. But what about those other moments? What about the newscaster with that awful line "Is this the end of Spider-Man?" or the kids saying "Totally Awesome!" when Sandman gets the pumpkin bomb in his... whatever. Those were like watching old bad movies or bad cartoons. What about Harry's amnesia? Was that even necessary? There are some other points but this isn't to bash the film.

Spider-Man 3 was just all right. It had it's sparkling moments such as the Bruce Campbell dinner scene and that beautiful scene where Sandman first forms. And much like the X-Men films, the second one blew the first one out of the water so much that the anticipation was high, but the final product seemed rushed, forced and didn't have that magic the previous films had.

Is this a trick question or a riddle?

I was one of the many others walking out of the theater disappointed. So many pointless scenes.... all those emo hair, Saturday night fever struts, omelet cooking, and narrating scenes could have been edited out. Plus it was just dull and predictable.
