Warner Brothers has just released four new images from Watchmen. Nothing particularly new here, just different angles on Rorschach, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre II, The Comedian, and Archie. Still, it’s Watchmen and they look great.
It’s also sort of interesting that with all the images Warners has released from this thing, we haven’t seen any shots of the older superhero characters in the story. We know for instance, that Carla Gugina plays Silk Spectre I, and in fact she was there at Comic Con talking about her character. But we have yet to see a photo of her or any of the other old time superheroes. Some popped up in the footage shown at Comic Con, but otherwise Warners is keeping them under wraps. Probably not a bad idea, we need something to look forward to.
Here’s all four new Watchmen images, click for high-res:
Damn Kevin Smith is a lucky little filmmaker (Clerks was great though). First Dark Knight and now Watchmen? Well he was right about Dark Knight, I think we can breath easy
They totally nailed the modernizing of the Silk Spectre, she looks a look more believable.
All those pics are incredible, even if the movies sucks (Chuck Norris forbid) at least they totally nailed the cinematography.
