Movies You Enjoy But Others Don't (Or The Other Way Around)
Now, I've noticed something about movie-loving communities that is understandable, but somewhat annoying. In a movie community, everyone is harsher on a movie, and I understand why. They see more movies and gain a harsher view when they see newer movies. But they also watch some classics everyone is supposed to love and conclude that they're great despite their flaws.
I like the prequels. I don't love them, but I don't hate them either. It's not as good as they original series, but they're better than many other movies. Now, I can be called "retarded" or "insane" for liking those movies, but what people on this site(and other movie sites) seem to forget is that the majority of the general population has no problem with the films. Normal people like them, maybe even love them.
Now here's an example of a "classic" I hate; Rocky Horror Picture show. It's a fetish movie with Tim Curry in drag... not my idea of a good time.
Anyone else have feelings like this?

I like the Ninja Turtle movies to... well, I like the first one at least. I don't like the second one because Vanilla Ice is a disgrace to mankind.

HAHA..you gotta love that song..But Vanilla Ice is a total fucktard..as proven by what he says at the end of this video " I made it ice" and..".they told me to keep it clean..which is me anyway".he is a tard...I do hate him..but the song rocks. Go ninja, go ninja GO! HAHA

The thick, obnoxious accents in the movie are making fun of people from northwestern and central Minnesota.
Just about everything that the Minnesotan characters do in the movie is the Coens poking fun at the stereotypes that just about every white Minnesotan over the age of fifty seems to bend over backwards to adhere to.
I'm not going to be all stuffy and say that the jokes were over your head, but I remember watching Fargo for the first time and wondering if the Coens realized most people wouldn't really get that 95% of the movie is a joke.
