I AM NOT A TELEPATHIC OCTOPUS...
but my job requires me to be. Here is a Forum for those who feel my pain as a working Joe. i am just a regular guy, a simple man. i drink coffee in the morning and beer at night. (insert Country Music here) i have two dogs and they are the only ones happy to see me when i get home. Otherwise, people suck. They demand that i read their mind and service them in as many ways as possible. It is demeaning. And yet.. perhaps there is something humble and "Amurican" about it. I dont know, you tell me.

Then that would eliminate 95% of ALL retail goods. I can't honestly think of anything people need in sales besides food, especially branded. Cut out the grocery store and you could order your food direct for half the price.
And if you're selling an xbox 360, wii, or ps3 to someone then you're not helpinglol

Actually, I'm not technically a telemarketer. At least that's what they spent an hour telling me during training. No, I'm a "telefundraiser." Telemarketers beg for money and offer something in return. Telefundraisers just beg for money. And because we're nonprofit, we can't be blocked. I wonder if telemarketers look down on us?

good point. thank you, what i meant to say was Aggressively sell to them. in other words, call them up and harass them like i get all the time at my home.
I work in fast food, so people come to me. Does that make it different? i guess it does, yes.
Though still, clearly people do NOT need this plasticated crap.. and yet it is So Good.. and yet they still come, like George Romero's zombies.. and man did that remake miss the whole point of the Mall metaphor.. sorry, this is a movie site, had to put that in.
