Hi, I watched Wall-E last week and didn't think that it was as good as previous Pixar movies, I thought that it went on for too long. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie but I don't think it was as good as Toy Story or Finding Nemo.
When I look at the homepage of my cinema, the reviewers recommend this over The Dark Knight!
I saw it on TV. as well, and still hated it. I just thought it was badly written, & had terrible voice-work by comparison to other Pixar films. I think I hated it mostly because it was such a wasted role for Paul Newman, and any film that underutilizes Paul Newman, yet gives Larry The Cable Guy a prime supporting role automatically loses my respect.
To be honest I thaught I was going to enjoy it more than I did, don't get me wrong I did like it, but I liked Ratatouille better. Perhaps I overhyped it too much.
I think alot of people did'nt like it because of that reason, it did'nt bother me because I love rats, not the wild kind so much but pet rats are some of the sweetest pets you can have.
