WALL-E overrated?

Hi, I watched Wall-E last week and didn't think that it was as good as previous Pixar movies, I thought that it went on for too long. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie but I don't think it was as good as Toy Story or Finding Nemo.
When I look at the homepage of my cinema, the reviewers recommend this over The Dark Knight!

I just thought it was badly written, & had terrible voice-work by comparison to other Pixar films. I think I hated it mostly because it was such a wasted role for Paul Newman, and any film that underutilizes Paul Newman, yet gives Larry The Cable Guy a prime supporting role automatically loses my respect.; ▶ Reply to This
