I hear that Sony plan for a 4th Spiderman movie for 2011. I'd like to know what people think about this considering the Venom spin off as well.
Personally I think that making another one would be completley milking the franchise. I don't think that there is anywhere else to go character wise and Venom was wasted. If they do make another one then it better do something like Chris Nolan did for The Dark Knight. Its all in the marketing!!!!!
Unofficial poster by the way although Carnage would be a good villain.
Ugh. Carnage fails as a villain. What's he going to do that's actually interesting? Kill people? Please tell me he does something other than that in some weird storyline I haven't read before.
No, I don't think this movie should be made. They have a bunch of second rate villains left to use, that while good, pale in comparison to the villains of the first three movies. Just wait and start over.
It's definitely not a question about if or when, but whether why make a fourth when you can simply stop at three. Unless Sony wasn't satisfied with what was done with Venom and want to give him more depth? So if they make a fourth, I see it involving Carnage, the death of Gwen Stacy at his hands, and Venom out for revenge. That is, of course, they can find a brilliant way to retcon what was seemingly shown as Venom's death.
Also am I the only one who thinks that the spiderman movies don't need sequels i mean they got rid of the best villain in the 1st movie and then just went onto 2nd tear ones for the 3rd
Spiderman 3 left me with the worst feeling I've ever had after walking out of a theater. Spiderman 2 was my favorite Superhero movie and #3 had such great potential. But it was just crap, it had just as much romance as action and the whole Peter Parker dancing on the streets montage was pointless.
I say go ahead and make it, let it try to redeem itself.
I want to stress to all you Spillers out there, that this really happened, even though if somebody told me this story, I wouldn't believe it myself.
Okay, when I was younger, I think 16 or 17, our family would get together for Thanksgiving dinn...
Hope you have fun traveling to see family, awkward meetings with old high school friends, and getting drunk at the local bar. Oh and eating turkey of course.
