If it's crap... We'll tell you

So I was on Moviefone's website and they put out a list of the 25 most despicable villians that played across the big screen. I know that the spill audience would not agree with this, but just wanted to see if there are any villians that you feel should or should not have made this list.

Here is the list:

25. Agent Smith, THE MATRIX
24. Khan Noonien Singh, STAR TREK: WRATH OF KHAN
23. Frank Booth, BLUE VELVET
22. Cruella de Vil, 101 DALMATIONS
21. Alonzo Harris, TRAINING DAY
20. Lex Luthor, SUPERMAN
19. Joan Crawford, MOMMIE DEAREST
18. T-1000, TERMINATOR 2
17. Dr. Christian Szell, MARATHON MAN
16. Anne Wilkes, MISERY
15. Tom Powers, PUBLIC ENEMY
14. Mrs. Iselin, MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE
13. Freddy Krueger, A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
12. Michael Myers, HALLOWEEN
11. Harry Powell, NIGHT OF THE HUNTER
10. Queen, SNOW WHITE AND THE 7 DWARFS
09. Max Cady, CAPE FEAR
08. Hans Gruber, DIE HARD
07. Chigurgh, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN
06. Goldfinger, GOLDFINGER
05. Joker, THE DARK KNIGHT
04. Hannibal Lecter, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS
03. Wicked Witch of the West, THE WIZARD OF OZ
02. Darth Vader, STAR WARS
01. Lord Voldemort, HARRY POTTER series

I don't feel that LV should have made number one, as everybody feels now that the Joker or Darth Vader holds that spot. What do you think?

I haven't seen Chinatown, but it's next on my list of movies to watch. Was he that badass of a villian?

He's not badassed in a physically intimidating sense.

But he still belongs in the top five.

He reminds me of Dick Cheney. Just a reptilian, disturbingly realistic kind of evil...

Tom Powers is on there, but yes, Nurse Ratched should have made it.

Ah, so he is. I even searched it a couple of times and missed him....

Well, Darth Vader and Voldemort aren't really that far off from each other. Star Wars and Harry Potter focus more on the protagonist than the antagonist.

I think having Lord Voldemort as the number 1 villian is stretching it a bit. I would put him on the list but not number 1. I'm surrprised they didn't put Henry Evans from The Good Son. He used the fact that he was a child as an excuse so well and it was played brilliantly. The Joker should be number 1 because The Dark Knight is a character study and went into some good depth. BUT, overall I think the list is a good list. Just some shifting around would've been nice.

And here are some that didn't make it based on fan reaction.

Jason Voorhees, FRIDAY THE 13TH

Jack Torrance, THE SHINING
Leatherface, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE
The Shark, JAWS
John Doe, SE7EN
Patrick Bateman, AMERICAN PSYCHO
Dracula, DRACULA
Amon Goeth, SCHINDLER'S LIST
The Emperor Palpatine, STAR WARS series
Scar, THE LION KING
The Alien, ALIEN
The Kurgan, HIGHLANDER
Scorpio, DIRTY HARRY
Bob Ewell, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD
Captain Vidal, PAN'S LABYRINTH

Saw this last night, and it kicked ass. THe spill crew were really off with their review. The plot had some flaws but the action was incredible, kinda old school 80s action. If this had come out in 86-89 it woulda been a cult classic.
