If it's crap... We'll tell you

Now there is one movie maybe more that we have all cried in. It's o.k. we have all done it. So I'd like to see what movies people have shed that tear for.

Mines Black Hawk Down at the scene where the two Delta Snipers get killed.

Hell yeah, really I've never cried about a movie... it's fake.... not real..... no need to cry..... that won't bring back the main character that dies in the end.

Ready for the height of embarrassing? I'm going to admit this now and expect you all to act civilized. The thing that gets me EVERYTIME...

*sigh*

...is when the stars explode behind Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor as he starts singing "I will always love you" in Moulin Rouge.

So, I'm an irrepressible romantic. Sue me.

...still better than a crazyman and a volleyball.

Besides, I absolutley loath that movie and even I got tingles at that part. Something about that perfect pitch of the voice.

I cry a lot in movies but let me tell you about a movie REVIEW that made me cry recently. When I was going to see Juno there was a review about a little Mexican boy whose mom works in the US. He's in Mexico living with his grandma who dies and has to get to America. That review had me sobbing like a baby..BEFORE the movie came on. And I wasn't alone. The old lady beside me was weeping too. Don't remember the name of the movie though.

I always cry at three scenes in Stepmom.

1. Near the end when Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts are at the restaurant and reconcile.

2. When Susan Sarandon talks to her kids at the end.

3. When Susan Sarandon includes Julia Roberts in the family picture at the end.

Pan's Labyrinth. I didn't just cry, I wailed. For like, twenty minutes. I was watching it at home, alone (the only time I can cry at a movie) and I thought my neighbors were going to call the cops.

Children of Men. The part were they're running through the apartment building and the baby is crying, and all the people are reaching out to touch the baby and the soldiers are putting down their guns . . *starts tearing up just thinking about it*

And for Disney . . . Pocahontas (I know, I know, but the part when they're singing about nature makes me cry, because I'm a hippie liberal douche) and Bambi. And The Fox and The Hound. Goddamn thats a depressing movie.

I'm with you on the first two. I never subjected myself to Pocohontas. But the Fox and the Hound...damn, that s#!t will seriously clear out your tear ducts.
