If it's crap... We'll tell you

Now there is one movie maybe more that we have all cried in. It's o.k. we have all done it. So I'd like to see what movies people have shed that tear for.

Mines Black Hawk Down at the scene where the two Delta Snipers get killed.

i have never cried in a movie but what got me close was an indian film called " Devdas" and Gladiator.

Just saw Atonement and to say I cried is an understatement - I was left traumatised!

I cried at the end of Atonement, too...but only because I spent ten dollars to see it.

That movie was fantastic. Loved the Score by Dario Marinelli.

I tend to cry more from when they get something so perfect and right in a film than from sadness due to the story. In Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire I always get choked up when the camera pans across the library and show all the people reading with angels hovering over them whispering into their ears. Oh yeah, and when they show how the spider sense works in Spiderman. The "I Will Always Love You" moment in the song in Moulin Rouge. The end of the Incredibles (that one because I just want it not to end...I love that movie). A bunch of different creepy moments in Donnie Darko. Lots more.

lol yes Donnie Darko is (IMO) perfect

Ya that scene at the end Moulin Rouge gets me too. I absolutely love that movie and I don't know why.

Cyrus, it takes a real man to admit that he has watched Moulin Rouge and cried at it.

Y'know, it's funny. If I'm watching a movie with someone (doesn't matter who), I'll be all stoic and not shed a tear (though I might secretly get choked up). But if I'm watching a movie by myself, then it can be total waterworks. And I'm not ashamed to admit that sometimes it's the sappy stuff that gets me. Movies like 'Heart & Souls' (at the beginning when the little boy's "imaginary friends" all leave), 'Mr Holland's Opus,' 'Gladiator' (mostly due to the music at the end credits), moments in 'Before Sunset' and 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,' and probably dozens of others I can't think of offhand. But the one that gets me every time is 'It's a Wonderful Life.'

At comedies... I laugh so hard tears gush out.
If the visuals are amazing I tend to not blink and my eyes get all watery.

If I get all choked up with tears and all its probably because I related to the situation that made me cry.
Being a single father, I got choked watching The Pursuit Of Happyness
Sad tear during the "sleeping in a cave" scene.
and a happy tear at the end.

I watched that with my mom, for personal reasons. Got the best of the both of our emotions. My brother opted not to watch it with us for obvious reasonslol
