If it's crap... We'll tell you

Was there ever a time when you went to the movies and the concession guy was a jerk, the dude sitting in front of you was an ass or it was an event you'll never forget? Tell those experiences here!

For example, a couple weeks ago, when i saw "Hot Rod", i managed to accidentally go to an open caption show for the deaf. Seeing as how the movie wasn't going to be out much longer any way and i wanted to see it, i sucked it up and went, regardless of the subtitles.

So i sit down in the theater, and by the time the movie starts, it's completely empty with the exception of myself. However, five minutes in, in walks a group of about 8 loud, obnoxious teenagers. Pushing each other, yelling, throwing stuff, pretty much your standard dick movie goer. So guess what, about of about 280 seats, they feel it necessary to sit behind me. Awesome.

Ten minutes in, one the the teens picks up her cell phone and starts talking teen nonsense "Shopping Shopping Boys Boys BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!"

I let it slide.

Fifteen minutes in, some of the guys start talking about how bad the movie is and stuff.

"Dude that guys got a huge nose"

"That's cause he's a jew"

"No way"

"Seriously man he's got a jew fro goin' on!"

This and several other meaningless conversations continue for a while. Having people talk in movies has always been a problem for me, but i'm usually too passive to do anything about it. But, after about 20 minutes of non-stop jibber jabber, I was about to say something, until the guy directly behind started kicking my seat to amuse his friends. This made me do something I'll never forget.

(Because It WAS a show for the deaf) I turned around, and immediately started pretending I'm deaf. I flail my figures randomly, and say, with a very distorted voice "Pweeas Stoop Inerooping Ta Muvi!"

It might seem offensive, but these kids had it coming. Their faces went paper white and had the most unbelievable look of shock and guilt ever. The kids just all looked at each other and there was almost complete silence for pretty much the rest of the movie.

However, towards the end, they realize that 'Oh yeah, deaf people can't hear, we can talk about meaningless teen things again'! As one turns towards the other and starts to speak, just to mess with him, i turn and give him the coldest glare. He slides back into his seat and doesn't say a thing.

When the movie ends, and everyone starts to head out the doors, the teens gather in a circle and start talking about the movie. I then walk up to them and say, plainly, "So what did you guys think of the movie"

8 priceless face of pure confusion stare me right in the face. Not a word is said from them. After about 10 solid seconds of silence, i say "Well, I might hear about what you guys thought about it later, i gotta go. Cya!

Was it a jerk move? Probably
Did they deserve to be messed with? Maybe
Was it a memorable movie experience? Most defiantly.

Wow. I think i wrote too much. XP
Sorry for the lengthy example guys!

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a "good" or "bad" experience but it sure was hella funny! I was in a packed theatre watching Flushed Away, and for some f*cking goddamn reason the film projector stopped working and we had to wait, BUT right the second the projector shut down some old fat guy in the audience was all (out loud by the way)

"WHAT THE F*CK MAN?! THIS IS A F*CKING GODDAMN OUTRAGE! I WILL NEVER PAY TO GO TO THIS THEATRE AGAIN! HEY B*TCH UP IN THE PROJECTION ROOM! YOU ARE F*CKING FIRED! YOU HEAR ME?! F*CKING GODDAMN FIRED!!! F*CK YOU ALL I'M TOO GOOD FOR THIS! i CAM TO SEE A F*CKING MOVIE AND NOW THIS IS HAPPENING! OH MY F*CKING GOD!!!! I SWEAR I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU BASTARDS IN THIS THEATRE!! F*CK YOU ALL!!!"

Yeah. He seriously said that in a theatre probably full of families. Beleive me, I would NEVER forget this. He got f*cking dragged out by the theatre people and while he was being dragged away he was sticking his middle finger up at everyone in the audience. CLASSIC. So I guess it was a good/bad experience.

My best movie experience in a movie theater is seeing something that no one but my group of friends went and saw.

The theater was completely empty, and it was just us. This was back in the day when Titanic was still in the theater, I think during that time, there was another movie playing with D'Caprio at the same time which was called 'Man in the Iron Mask'.

Anyway, you have a mega blockbuster movie playing that EVERYONE was seeing, and then pretty much my group of friends in another theater, watching something that no one cared about.

The movie was boring as crap, but we were yelling, throwing food, jumping up and down the chairs, it was a blast....until when we were playing tag, My friend ran into a wall, and in that wall was a nail that just went straight through his hand and blood was everywhere.

When you're around a group of friends, you'd think we'd get help, but pretty much, all we did was laugh and have him get his own help. Then when he got back, we just joked about it until he felt bad and hated us.

When I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, there was a chick sitting behind me who, and I'm not exaggerating, would break into a coughing fit every 5-10 mintues. And on top of that she was kicking my chair ALL the time. Everytime she kicked my chair I would buck back ass hard as I could but she still didnt get the hint. If you are coughing that much in a room full of people trying to listen to something, go get a drink of water or take a fucking halls.

My worst experience was when I went to see a movie which I cant even remember (it must have been great lol) and the guy that sat down next to me was fuckin stinkin, the theater was packed so I couldnt move so I pretty much breathed out my mouth for the whole film which felt shit.

There was this other time which was hillarious cause me and my friend went to see another shit film that I cant remember and there was a group of annoying young teenagers that were making weird noieses and laughing loudly, this went on for about 5 or 10 minutes until my friend shouted "SHUT THE FUCK UP OR ILL BOOT YER BAWS!" which did shut them up and we got back to watching the crappy film in peace.

btw Jason F that story was hillarious, ur very quick witted and they definetly deserved it.

Worst experience: was these stupid teenage girls purposefuly screaming really loud at the "scary parts" in 'I am legend' that movie wasn't scary and they knew it! They were just being dumb bitches.

Best experience: seeing the simpsons movie and sneaking in enough outside food to replace the need for dinner afterwards.

My best movie experince was when I went to see Return Of The King for the first time, it was very exciting and the audience would aplaud at certain times like when Rohan comes to help Gondor.

My worst experience was the second time I saw King Kong because I loved it so much I went back to see it. There were a bunch of really loud people who were laughing and talking throughout the movie and it was really distracting.

Weirdly enough they are both movies directed by Peter Jackson.

Best: When I saw Spider-man 3 and Transformers with a large audience... it was funnny LOL. The scene where Peter slaps MJ.. some black guy cry "OOHHHH!!!! BITCH SLAP!!!" everyone was laughin =)
