I just hope they don`t overemphasize on the effects and use the story only to get from one "awesome-cool-geek-pleasuring-sequence" to another. Snyder did that in "300" which was good, because there was no story. Watchmen does have an actual plot and a lot of it will be cut out, otherwise there wouldn`t be a movie at all.
What scares me about the trailer, is the fact that almost all the scenes are in slow motion, so the plot suffers even more...
But I can`t make assumptions now, since judging a movie by the trailer is unfair.
My actual complaint is Ozymandias` plastic-exo-muscle-looks-like-nipples-on-it outfit. They had to update his spandex, since it would look ridiculous today. but come on! rohrschach and the comedian look great, why do you have to fuck up Ozymandias?

Having never read the series. Go ahead and pull my geek card. It' looks awesome. They have to squeeze 12 issues of great writin into 2-3 hours of movie. I will read this before it comes out just to know whats going one. I hate beig that guy. You know him . always whispering questions. like " Who's that? " and " what did he say when I said who's that?".

To be honest, I didn't see what the big deal was when I saw the trailer on this forum. HOWEVER, thats until I saw the Watchmen trailer at the movie threaters. IT'S LOOKS SO FU**ING AWESOME!!! Can't wait.
