Batman and Robin review
wow, the first time i saw this movie i mustve been about 8 years old, and then i thought it was the best thing ever. You know when your young and when you watch a movie once, you could watch it over and over on the same day. Well that was what i thought of batman and robin then. If i knew what a review was when i was 8 i wouldve given it 11 out of 10. But now that im a little older and a littler wiser, as i was flicking throught the channels on cable, i notcied that batman and robin was about to start. I was going to take a stroll down memory lane, and hopefully, watching this again would put a huger smile on my face. Oh how wrong I was.
Any movie with arnie is just common snse to give him a catchfrase. But the writers of this just went out of their way to give him a one liner every scene. But hey no matter what age you are, you can still enjoy. However, these snappy one liners could never save this movie from its terrible plot and bad acting. I thought i could atleast enjoy these action scenes. But no, somehow, sliding down the spine of a dinosaur doesn't do it for me anymore. With a cast like this, you could maybe hope something good could come from this. But no. Crap crap crap crap, crrrrrrap. The best thing about this movie was Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, but even that was crap, so thats not really saying ver much about this movie.

I get the shivers (bad pun intended) watching Arnie as Mr. Freeze. Also terrible: Alicia Silverstone's faux-karate ("yah!"). Bruce Wayne's relationship with Elle Macpherson. "I want a Robin signal in the sky!" How did this franchise go so wrong so fast under Schumacher? Read the quotes on IMDb and revel in this film's awfulness.
I suppose the positive spin is, if Batman & Robin doesn't fail so superbly, then Christopher Nolan doesn't get the chance to reboot the franchise with Batman Begins and The Dark Night.

Yo, Brownie. I saw this movie too when i was little and i thought it was the best thing ever as well. I would play this movie almost everyday on my VHS. But when i watch this movie now, i completely see how bad it was: the campyness, the bad acting, the one-liners and the fight scenes.
But like CiscoMan mentioned, this movie is a good example of how the franchise shouldn't go.
