I do apologize if this one has been up for review before, tell you the truth I just wanted to write this synopsis...
Aachi and Ssipak (2006)

Country: South Korea
Language: korean
Genre: Scifi/Comedy
Category: Animation
Release year: 2007
A likely future has taken a unlikely turn, leaving us stranded in Shit City.
The earths natural resources has gone from being scarce to non-existant in
this futuristic setting and the only readily available source of energy is the
excrement of humans. A situation that makes the government carefully
monitoring every citizens production of fecal waste by inserting a chip
implant in their anus at birth.
To further motivate the citizens to generate more poo they offer a delicious
popscicles, called Juicy bar for each "deposit" they make. These juicy bars
however is hallucinogenic and highly addictive and meant to control its
citizen and ensure a steady supply of excrement, this in turn has lead to a
city full of addicts.
Aachi and Ssipak resides in this new shit metropolis as small time thugs and
illegal dealers of juicy bars.
When they one day cross path with a blue-haired woman that is known only as
Beautiful they also get involved with the notorious Diaper gang, outcast of this new society since they fell victim of the side effects from juicybars that turned them into small pint-sized mutants.
Their only objective is to obtain more juicybars and this must be done by
theft since they are unable to defecate in their current mutant state.
I would say it is pretty dumb but still the plot is quite engaging.
In that world, shit is considered a valuable commodity and totally stripped of any embarrasing sentiment associated with it. On the contrary, a big dump is something to be proud of. But watching it in my world were we haven't gotten that civilized yet, the grossfactor could be a bit too much to handle.
However, the second half of the movie focuses more on the plot and abandons a lot of the toilet humour and poo visuals and just goes into relentless action mode.
I'm not that knowledgeable about animation technique but i thought that the CGI backgrounds and details worked ok together with the 2D characters, though not perfect. Well, I know I liked it anyway.

I don't have a rating system. I recommend it.
