I personally think that some of the best storylines and drama came from a few of the cartoons that eminated from the 1990's.

With that in mind, here are two of my favorites:

Exosquad. Completely underrated in my mind.

Batman: The Animated Series. Quite frankly, the best Batman stories ever told, outside of what Nolan is doing with the latest re-incarnation of the series.

Just curious what you all think.

Hmmmm... :)

Well Superman and Batman TAS, go without saying. I'd add:

Captain Planet
: When other kids were watching Sailor Moon, I'd be watching Captain Planet. Molded my young mind and made me the ecologically concious person I am today

Swat Cats:
This cartoon ROCKED! And I don't mean just that it had a kickin soundtrack, it was just a real fun toon to watch

Pirates of the Black Water: Interesting animation, great story and just all around memorable cartoon.

Shadow raider War Planets and Reeboot: Both from Mainframe animation. I still have most of Reboot on some dvd's somewhere. It was just so funny and ahead of its time

Beast Wars: Amazing. Period. Dinobot is my favourite character and one of my all time favourite robots.

The X-men. Spiderman and Iron Man cartoons: Main reasons I read comics today to be honest. :)

Have to think of more stuff but that's it for now... :)
SWAT Kats, nice.
That's one of the series I want to see made into a film.
Also, they're bringing Reboot back.
What channel did Pirates of Black Water show on? It's like everyone remembers that show except me....
i thought it was called pirates of dark water. didn't that show not have a last episode? it just up and stopped being made.
You are right

I remember being a HUGE fan of that show as a kid, and then one day I came home to find some CEO had it whacked.

Don't feel to bad though, I was a stupid kid who had the memory of a ringworm.

The show was Hanna-Barbera so it came on a few channels I think
Glen Quagmire
What?
Darkwing Duck
Angry Beavers

Rocko's Modern Life
Tales from the Crypt Keeper.
Beetlejuice.
The 90s had some kickass cartoons!

The most underrated in my opinion: GARGOYLES. great storyline, great animation, the works

Man I loved those cartoons and they lasted so little.

I also agree and the xmen /batman/ spiderman tas
Men in Black: The Series (I thought it was better than the movie)

Freakazoid

I'm glad someone said Gargoyles...I had completely forgotten that one....
