I know a lot of people find themselves able to sleep to sounds of the rain forest or lullabyes but me I find I best sleep to Justin Timberlake or Linkin Park or the sound of my friend beating his girlfriend.

Depends
sometimes shoegaze like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, M83, Astrobrite or Alcest
Or any kind of ambient slow and soothing band like Helios, Brian Eno Or something more heavy and drony like Sunn O))), Earth and The Angelic Process.
And simply bands like Sigur Ros, Pink Floyd and Portishead.
galaxie 500's second album on fire. fucking beautiful record highly recommended if you like dinosaur jr, low, flaming lips that sort of that. guess another would be my bloody valentine's loveless if you turn it way down low so it sounds like beautiful whitenoise
music i find useful to fall asleep to are as follows, in no particular order, enigma (MCMXC a.D) the orb (the orb's adventures beyond the ultraworld) gomez (bring it on) godspeed you black emperor! (F# A# (infinity) ) portishead (any of the 3 albums) non music would be cd's by bill hicks, richard pryor and lenny bruce, how does that grab ya's?
SqueakGeek Going to Boise via Phoenix. I'm thinking shorts and a parka.

Sara K. Reilly Just saw Avatar. Excellent! Tho' it's a Full Price rather than a Better than Sex. Don't go in expecting the 2nd coming. Just a great movie.
