Favorite Movie Starring a Wrestler
It seems to be the rage these days to look to wrestling for the next wannabe action star. But Wrestlers have been in movies for ages. Granted more as cameos but still. Example, Hulk Hogan as Thunderlips in Rocky III back in '82. It even goes beyond that.
My choices for this topic is Hell Comes to Frogtown and They Live both starring Roddy Piper.
As a bonus topic(not worth a whole new discussion) who is your favorite actor turned wrestler for a bit? (i.e. Mr.T, David Arquette, Tom "Tiny" Lister aka Zeus)

They Live was great and I remember seeing Frogtown on USA's Up All Nite and wondered what the hell I was watching.
But hmm fav. movie with a wrestler, a tie b/w They Live and The Rundown with The Rock.
Now only if they do Gears of War with Batista

I am in total agreement on both statements. I enjoyed the Rundown a lot to my surprise. And Batista would be an excellent choice for a Gears of War movie.

Yea for Gears of War I have Batista as Marcus Fenix . Michael Jai White as Augustus "Cole Train" Cole. If not MJW, Lester Speight who did his voice in the game and his Terry Tate in the Reebok Commericals and on My Wife and Kids. Dominic Santiago played by Raymond Cruz or Fernando Sucre.

I really like the TV show 'Thunder in Paradise' starring Terry 'Hulk' Hogan - he could get the boat from one side of the pacific to the other in something like 10 minutes - I don't think there was a movie but there should have been.
The best actor to wrestle - well Dennis Rodman is a pretty darn good actor and he was equally as good at pro wrestling.

I think it was a TV movie before it became a show. I am guilty of watching that show also. All the old wrestlers as background character was awesome. And Sting as their Navy SEAL buddy turned enemy was cool.

But don't forget that Jesse Ventura played large (if not leading parts) in two Ahnuld films - Predator and Running Man.
