If it's crap... We'll tell you

Which games do you think were underrated?

Advent Rising: Was originally supposed to be the first part in a trilogy but the company didn't have enough money to go ahead with. It was a sci-fi that examined human nature. You soon get god-like powers to help save the universe.

Jurassic Park: Trespasser: A cool innovative fps that was really ahead of its time. It takes a while to get used to the controls.

The Thing: A kick ass sequel to the original movie.

The Darkness, some of the reviews seemed a little too harsh, the game was soo much fun to play, it had a cool storyline and characters that semed more realistic than most of the other FPS titles. Not too metion how good the graphics were, the game had its flaws (laggs multiplayer) but was better than people made out.

I liked the game a lot as well. They should have stayed closer to the comic though. Also... did you understand the ending?

Yeah sorta, I think he is consumed by the darkness and possibly dies and goes to hell, but just before he does he gets to say goodbye to Jenny as she's in heaven, maybe. I never read the comics so what was the differences between the comic's and the game?

He's still alive for one.

Also he did kill Polly and did not get consumed by the Darkness for it. Also he controls the Darkness. The Darkness didn't prevent him from saving his girl. She died by Polly's hands on a tape that was sent to Jackie. Also Jackie is an asshole in the beginning of the Darkness. He didn't become a anti-hero until after his encounter with Batman (which was confirmed canonical).

Wow it seems u understood it alot better than me and Batman made an appearence in the comic, did they fight?, anyway I hope there's a Darkness 2.

Two games comes to mind:
Space Channel 5 - a rythem game with an awesome soundtrack set in a 60's style retro-futuristic world. Not only was the art was awesome and the music cool, but it could channel everything fun about music rythem-games.
Killer7 - So the gameplay was lucklustre, I admit it, but this games was worth playing again and again for the unique characters and the awesome story.

Yeah. I've played the game through on my friends Gamecube and loved it. Still if I am getting a Wii it will be a gamecube title I'll pick up. If not I'll attempt to stomach the PS2 controls.

You know what game this footage reminds me of: Geist for the Gamecube. Does anyone remember Geist. That game was awesome despite the facts that it made no sense. I just love possessing people.

second sight had lots of problems...I loved the psychic stuff but it had a terrible aiming system at times. Also the story and the gameplay never really mixed for me

Tribes. Way ahead of its time.

YES! Tribes was one of the reasons I got into FPS games. I honestly believe that game trained me to be a decent FPS player. It was such a pain in the ass trying to headshot someone with a jetpack that most present day FPS games are easier for me, hehe.

It really was ahead of it's time; Offering some of the best team based gameplay that few games have matched since.

For me, I love the visuals and the great acting by Jackie Earl Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Patrick Wilson. There are other reasons, but these are the ones that stick out the most for me.
