It's tied for first with Batman Begins for me. As far as lighthearted superhero movies go, Iron Man without a doubt, but if I'm in the mood for a darker film, it'd be Begins.

Batman 89 is dull and boring. Same for Returns. Schumacher sucks. Begins is awesome.

I say that Spider Man 2 is the best super hero movie ever, It is the closest one to how the comic book is, Iron man is great, but it's not as close to the comic book as Spider man, and I love batman begins, but that no way near the comic book. Batman is a great detective, but you don;t get that in the movies, plus batman not cool, he's scary

See what I like about IRON MAN is that they made the movie seem a little bit of today with afganistan. Also tony stark actualy enjoys being a superhero.

Back when the comic was made, they had him kidnapped in Russia or something didn't they? Which I assume fits with the time period back then. So, little updates to make it relevant today, such as the Afghanistan replacement are welcome.

Yeah, I'm about the same as everyone else. Iron Man and Batman Begins are tied, Spider Man in third.

Exactly. Theres no way you can say Spider-man 2 was the most faithful to the comics.
Spider-man has fun and cuts loose when hes in costume hes not the same dull downtrodden guy as Peter Parker. Doc Ock is not a good guy. Spider-man is not adverse to having a girlfriend because hes a superhero. Its not like he became a monk.

And I do think Iron Man was the best superhero movie, but I have yet to see Incredible Hulk.

Ugh, I just don't get the love for Spiderman 2. It's a well made movie, but it's dreadfully nap-inducing during several scenes.

I just like how they make tony stark actualy enjoy being a super hero not crying about it.
In my opion he's my favorite super hero.

I don't know if it's the best, but it's tied with Batman Begins and the original Spider-Man.

Batman Begins, Iron Man, and the original Spider-Man hold the standards for what a super hero movie should be.

Hopefully The Dark Knight will claim the title as the best super hero movie.

It's up their. I really am tired of discussing how great the Iron Man movie was. Yes it was great but do we really need to keep rehashing it.
