- The Curbstomp scene from American History X is pretty disturbing the first time you see it
- 'Eraserhead' as a whole was somewhat disturbing, especially the parts with the baby and the eraser production factory
"the girl next door" based on the true story of sylivia likens. it was really disturbing to know that it actually happened to someone in real life. this movie changed the way i look at life.
Chan-Wook Park's Sympathy For Mr Vengeance is worse....
*Spoiler Alert!*
MUCH worse. Oldboy is violent, but cartoonish in many respects. "Sympathy" is...well...fucked. The main characters are played so real and honestly likable that it's truly painful to watch scenes like this.
Jacob's Ladder. I watched it when I was 12. Unfortunately ,at age 20, it didn't have the same affect that it had when I was 12. The shaking heads is what creeped me out.
