If it's crap... We'll tell you

What's up everyone. I thought it'd be interesting to hear what albums everyone is anticipating from certain artists.

I'm waiting for the new Metallica album to come out, and praying that it doesn't suck as hard as St. Anger.

Why God?! Why St. Anger?! Why why?!

I love it when people accuse Metallica of "selling out" without realizing that the color of their own money is green too.

You think Metallica didn't lose a massive chunk of their fanbase by evolving their style?

They'd be real sell outs if they did nothing but cough up carbon copies of the same tired old premise again and again like Megadeth and Slayer.

All these fans crying about the halcyon days of Master Of Puppets need to wake up and realize this isn't 1986 anymore.
Cut your hair and get a job....

I'm the guy you ask for permission.

I didn't mean to go all bent up on you there, I just dislike it whenever someone throws the phrase 'sell out' around, especially when you consider that every band on this planet is either playing their music for money or aren't worth spending money on.

In terms of Metallica, I think they hit their peak a long time ago and have been having a harder time than most bands, since their peak was just so damned high.

Beck has an album coming out next month that I'm really looking forward to.

Though not as good as Odelay, both Guero and The Information were brilliant.

Well I got a lot of stuff I've been or would be excited about. I got the new MSI, new NIN, Coldplay, Beck (downloaded Modern Guilt last night), The Subways, Offspring, so I guess all that's really left that I can think of is The Automatic's "This Is A Fix."

Avatar is considered "original", I agree it's a James Cameron film the guy is always oringinal with his filmaking and in his style, but in all seriousness Avatar's plot and story isn't original. The film that's the closest is a very recent film that…
