In the 60's, apparently people were even more dysfunctional then we are now. Reading Revolutionary Road, I've realized that there is no couple I've ever seen as messed up as Frank and April Wheeler. 40 years later, their story hits the big screen.
I, for one, am anxious as hell.
Reason 1) Leonardo Dicaprio
Reason 2) The book kicked ass, and for those who read the book, you know its some deep stuff
Reason 3) Titanic is my FAVORITE movie, and it is so awesome for me to have Leo and Kate back together again.
It doesn't come out untill December, but it's been done now, and the best we RR nerds have gotten from is this

But what I really want to talk about with people, and it's a long running discussion on the IMDb boards, is the Oscar potential.
For anyone who's read RR, you know it's some deeeeep shit. Oscar worthy deep shit. Sure, we all loved Jack and Rose, but to watch them be the uber-dysfunctional Wheelers. I'm thinking lots of Oscar noms.
Who else is going to be seeing this? Give me your opinions!
