come on man.

Real hip hop is EVERYTHING. Even the commercial stuff. I love Wu Tang and Channel live but lets be realistic, I don't wanna hear that when I'm at a night spot. i want to hear something that gets the crowd moving and the girls dancin.

While pop rap has never been lyrically advanced, it does succeed in giving us that life soundtrack b side album we hear in the background. You really have to just lose the snob in you and just enjoy the mussci for what it is. Trust me, I used to be the same way til i grew up.

I respect your argument, but to be honest I don't listen to Rap in clubs, I listen to House, Electro, Techno etc. So these commercial rappers don't really do anything for me in any aspect of the music I listen to. Although I don't think it's childish or snobbish of me not liking a certain type of music, we all have our different tastes, and I like the old and underground style of hip hop before it went commercial is all. I agree that the commercial stuff applies to some people in clubs etc. But not to me really.

Public Enemy (Flavor Flav, yeah boy!), Wutang Clan, sum NWA songs

I really like Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Jay Z, Aaliyah, Missy Elliott even tho they are very commercial
