Not to be a dick, but this should be in the "shootin' the shit" forum, not the movie one.

But I completely agree that Soldier Boy, Cam'ron, and Rick Ross are pieces of shit.

It's getting hard to remember when rap music didn't completely suck.

I know exactly what you mean, Ive practically stopped listen to most of the new artists, I'm looking for new old albums nowadays.

Hip Hop has changed too much over the years, for good and for worse...

I wouldn't say that, white people listen too, more than you think actually, and a lot of good rappers are white aswell: Aesop Rock, El-P, Cool Calm Pete, Necro, Eminem (Before he did The Eminem Show), Beastie Boys, Atmosphere, Ill Bill etc...

I am a Black man, and I wouldn't scorn If I saw a white dude listening to some good Hip Hop, not at all...

Plus, hip hop was never a black thing. That shit is all over the place, you got palestinians and persians flowin on the mic in farsi and the shit actually sounds good.

Dude thats is not always true. I have been to a lot of hip hop concerts where my friend was the only white boy in the crowd. The racial makeup of the crowd depends on the city and area of the concert.

yea, well, if you go to a more diverse city the majority of the crowd would be white. of course, if you go to a predominantly black area, the crowd would be black. but, if you compare all hip-hop concerts in the u.s. shit, if you compare all hip-hop concerts worldwide then its just wrong for nina harper to say, "hip-hop is more of a black thing"
