I don't have Cable in Toronto, but I still get my TV goodness from box sets. It's lovely...no commercials, no having to wait every week for the next episode. And you get commentaries and all that goodness.

My favorites are:
Rescue Me
South Park (The commentary alone is worth it)
Pen and Teller's Bullshit!

So this is where everyone talks about the shows that you like so much, you shell out $20-$100 per set

Okay, I posted this question once already but I didn't get any responses, so maybe it'll go better the second time around.

Oh hell, not many.

Starship Troopers: Roughnecks. I wish I had the individual dvd's, which did have some excellent commentary.

All the Batman Animated Series box sets.

Freakazoid season 1 and 2.

Invader Zim. I enjoy them... but to be honest, I'm not sure how they ended up in my collection.

That's where I purchased my dvd boxed sets of The Pallisers and Upstairs, downstairs and my collection of the Gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows" CHEAP....VERY CHEAP!.

Bigg Boss 6

I'm gonna resurrect this thread because this is something long coming with great anticipation on my part. I know everyone is sick of Batman but this is something that I've been longing for forever, and now that the license for it has become available, I'm giddy as a school girl. Especially with all these new products coming out for it.

What am I talking about? The 1966 Batman series, of course! There's a string of new shit coming out to test the water for a possible release of the series on dvd.

I don't go out and buy tv sets willy-nilly, but that shit right there is getting my money fo' sho'!

Also, a fun fact, all the big Batman hits have big, obligatory "homages" to the show (and by "big Batman hits", I mean the ones with the Joker):
