This thread was inspired by a previous Discussion on sequals that suck. I believe a much more contraversial and interesting topic would be which sequel/prequel are better then the original or just as good. Here are some of my favourites

Jaws 2, inferior but still entertaining
Goldfinger, techincally a sequell to Dr. No
Empire Strikes Back/ Return of the Jedi, not quite as good as A New Hope but still awsome.

look im sorry but the spider man trilogy has not lived up to the name of Spiderman. All it is is a combination of cool effects and the X-Menish new modern look at super heroes, with the sleek new outfits and the adaptation to real world issues. Thats not the point of super hero stories.
