If it's crap... We'll tell you

Who is your favorite author, and what is your favorite book that he created. For me its Robert Ludlum, and my favorite book that he made was The Bourne Supremacy

The book is way different then the movie. Nothing from the book is used in the movie NOTHING and thats what so great about it.

So what are yours ......

Hmmm i have a list of authors I idolize but many of them are well known but the one who I think is underrated is Terry Goodkind, creator of the Sword of Truth series. A fantasy series that is so long and so in depth in its own world that it puts all others to shame. Sure Tolken is the godfather of fantasy novels but this guy is seriously amazing. He not only deals with fantasy elements but although the nature of humans. His books are really long, none of them (except for a short 178 page novella) are bellow 600 pages and he has completed his main story arch after eleven books. That is one dedicated man with a plan. My favorite has to be the second book The Stone of Tears but they are all excellent.

My sister read's those books, and she's always trying to make me read them. Otherwise, she just goes on and on about how great Richard is or what happens to Richard....

I think I may never read those books just because she's probably told me everything that happens..

Your sister is a punk for ruining them for you.

Nah, she's just really really enthusiastic about the books that she reads, and she needs someone to talk about them with her. Sometimes we're on the same page, but there are other times when I just don't read fast enough for her.....

As for right now I would have to say Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I think Card is a really good writer and I enjoy many of his other books.

Eric Nylund just for Ghosts of Onyx. The ending is the most bad ass I've seen in a while.

Homer and the Illiad/Odyssey

(paraphrasing)
"In battle, they will say he is like his father and one day they will say, "No he is greater than his father!"
