One of the scariest movies of all times (in my opinion) is "The Exorcist".
BAR NONE! I can only watch it in the daytime & someone has to be home with me. LOL The 2nd scariest movie is "The Exorcism of Emily Rose"

Does anyone out there agree with me?

Hi first let me introduce myself, i'm Spicylatina and i'm new on spill.
I agree, i remember the first time i saw excorsist. When it first came out i forget how old i was but we went to the theaters to see it. We didn't live far from the theater so the family would have a nice walk. Well this evening and after watching that movie i was looking behind me. I just coldn't get the image out of my mind when her head turned and the green vomit :) I was traumatized for along time. Till this day i can't watch that movie and don't let my my children watch it either. If its on i close my eyes and turn the channel immidiatley. I can't hep to think that something evil will happen if i left it on. That can scare the heck out of a kid for life also :) great discussion by the way :)
Girl, i was messed up for a while too... LOL! I first saw the Exorcist when i was a kid. I was a full grown woman before I watched it again. Anything that deals with demons or satan frightens me to death.
LOL i'm still screwed up also lol a grown woman with the light on to walk to the bathroom LOL i'm still getting use to spill, sorry i'm late. i'm the same way with anything dealing with demons. it creeps me out so i don't watch anything like that to much. I change the channel immidiately if its on. My grandma use to tell me that demons can come through your tv so i guess thats what did it LOL I'll make sure i don't scare my kids like that lol
Yeah...The Shinning! Good one. :-) REDRUM LOL!
I totally have to agree with you on Jaws. To this day that film has me terrified of sharks...
The first Halloween still gives me the willies.

The movie that scared me the most was The Blair Witch Project. I slept with the light on for about a week.
Me too, halloween 1 has always given me the creeps. I love that movie with a passion no matter how much it scares me. I think its that halloween song. its the scariest tune i ever heard. Nothing scares me as much as that tune. I watch it every year on halloween. I think they got to carried away with all the halloweens they made though. I can understand part 1 then 2 or even 3 but 4, 5, 6, 7 13 blah it got boreing.
Spicy, They got carried away with all the Friday 13th movies too. Now that's another great scary film. The original that is...
Believe it or not..i have never seen the original Halloween. I'll watch it and let you know if i crap myself... Ha Ha Ha.

Blair witch...now thats a great creepy movie.
u never saw the first halloween wow i'm amazed. Well its the best one and yes they did get carried away with friday the 13th. i mean its getting to be to much when movies go up to parts 13 or 14 come onnnn LOL I think the only movie that i didn't mind all the parts was Rocky. That was good all the way through.
As an adult, horrors don't scare me anymore. But back when I was but a wee snip of a lad, it would have to be:

- The Exorcist - I saw a preview of this as a kid, where the girl was on the bed as it shook. That night, I was scared as hell to go upstairs to my fuckin' bedroom.
That fuckin' movie......

.- Trilogy Of Terror - I saw this as a very young kid, and that voodoo doll was mean. I mean just really mean. Scenes with the knife slashing underneath the door & cutting it's way out of the suitcase really shivered the hell out of me preadolescent timbers. And that ending....lemme tell you, to this day, I ain't right in the head because of that fuckin' ending. I saw this flick many years after, as an adult, & now it's one of the cheesiest pieces of crap I've ever scene. So, I'm not sure if it still counts.

-Night Of The Living Dead - 'Nuff said.
Celestial...that was hilarious. Thanx for that response. LOL :-)
