Well, before I saw Iron Man, my top three superhero movies were, in order, Spiderman 2, X-Men 2, and Batman Returns. I would easily put Iron Man past Batman Returns, and maybe X-Men 2, but I need a little distance on that one. Spiderman 2 is still my number one, though.

I liked the strangeness of Batman Returns more. I thought Batman Begins was ok, but I also felt that it was more of a set-up movie then anything else (and we will be getting the payoff soon with The Dark Knight). It was good, but just not all that compelling.

I'm going to put it on the Mt. Rushmore of Comic book movies. That would be, Spiderman 2, X-Men 2, Iron Man and Batman Begins, But The last movie will be replaced soon with the Dark knight
