But i looked up invincible it seems interesting. I am not a big fan of comic books but if i get some extra cash i might buy it.

for me, it's a toss up between dolemite and rowdy roddy piper. the reasons are difficult to quantify, but i think many of them go without saying. seriously, dolemite is the tough black hero that won't cop out when there's heat all about! and roddy, well, if you've seen how many times that guy can take a kick and or punch to the junk, and still manage to walk this earth, then you have to be in awe of his meta-human physiology.

here is dolemite in an extra special after school special clip, were he deals with the problems of urban drug use and crime...

and here is rowdy roddy piper getting his junk plowed like a farm... and walking away to have them be thrashed another day... this scene inter-spliced with a south park bit that pays homage to the indestructible testicular fortitude exhibited here...

seriously though... there is some intense badassery going on here... and i think either of these cats could put a hurtin' on any real world superhero (the ones that are human, but have gadgets and or specialized training...).

i tried to make a dolemite rhyme utilizing the classic rudy ray moore iambic pentameter, popularized in the many films and albums that span his career. i have to apologize though, as my proficiency in this discipline is not up to par. i really wanted to make this quatrain specific to your comment and more to the point, you, but i couldn't quite get the rhyming scheme to work out with your name. if i had more time i would try to pair moxie with foxie (in a non sexist way of course). all the same, dolemite is the greatest hero of all time... i am pretty sure that he would take batman and spiderman in virtually any scenario that involves jive in any way whatsoever.

hahahaha well i liked the rhyme. Blackspolation was an sort of a era in film making where they created films attempting to target the black urban audience...you know what here is the wiki page. you can check it out yourself.

i am familiar with the genre... i was just trying to make a point that no one can exploit rudy ray moore... that guy is made out of win and awesome (sorry to use an internet cliche', but it is appropriate here). dolemite was a gift to the world, not just 70's "urban" cinema. any rat soup eatin' motha fucka that tries to exploit dolemite is gonna get served.

i will now calm down, light a candle at my human tornado shrine, genuflect, and seek guidance by way of meditation on the virtues of nerve-shattering, brain-battering, mind-splattering, one man disasters...

I don't read comics so maybe I'm not the best person to answer but I would say Wolverine. Main reason is the claws. That is just awesome to have retractable blade like claws and be able to instantly heal. No matter what it would be someone from the X-Men because they got a lot of cool abilities but just something about claws and being a badass kind of appeals to me. Since this is comics not manga so my other picks to who I like best wouldn't count plus manga people aren't super heros.

i said they dont have to be from comics. You could easily argue that some of the manga characters are superheros.
