Sonofabitch! I've had about enough of goddamn "capitalism" and the government fucking over the little guy. Goddamnit! Goddamnit!

What the hell? How the hell and I supposed to make a living? I send a story into a magazine, they wipe my name off of it and publish it as their own? Or I send a book into an editor, my name gets taken off and I never see anything from it? Then I have to spend ten years in court to prove it's even mine, thanks to some remote registery I had to PAY to get my work into that a company doesn't even have to CHECK?! And what is the registery company goes bankrupt? Does the protection still even apply?!

If this was really about public domain they'd simply shorten the lifespan of protected works.

Bastards!

Orphan Works bill... it just won't go away. I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one. Every time this thing rises from the grave, it just falls flat again under the weight of its loopholes and flaws. If 2008 proves any different, then I'll get on my high horse and do some writing to congress.

Well I just found a web page that has more info on the Orphan Works Bill and how it's will never be passd by Congress and that it's nothing to worry about.
