HELP!!!!!! I'm taking a bus load of high school students on an 8-hour trip. Thankfully, there is a DVD player on board. So, what movies should I bring?
Here's my first draft from my collection, but I can Netflix anything else - trip's in two weeks.
Batman Begins
Bourne Ultimatum
Incredibles
Iron Giant
Princess Bride
Signs
Obviously, no R's, nothing risque, etc... It's a school trip. Nuff said.
How about The four Feathers with Heath Ledger or goodbye Mr Chips with Robert Donat or even The Ghost And Mrs Muir with Rex Harrison(Depends if they can stand that pesky black & white of course!)
I'm a big fan of Audrey Hepburn and Lucy Ball ("I Love Lucy", "Yours, Mine, and Ours") but most teens don't want to watch them. I don't know the gender of your students. I think that "Princess Diaries" 1 & 2 and "Kate and Leopold" are good chick flicks. For younger girls "Wendy Wu" and the "Cheetah Girls" 1 & 2 (Disney t.v. movies) are also good.
Hey, Ed. I think they'll love everything on your list (except Princess Bride, teenage guys my age will pretend they don't like it). But here's a couple things I like
Disturbia
Hot Rod
Mean Girls
Blades of Glory
Enchanted (God, all of them will love that movie. I'm gonna buy it right now)
The Guardian
John Tucker Must Die
Go with the movie Accepted. It's funny, has a good message, and best of all it's rated PG13(if memory serves). I know that's only one but it sounds like you have other ideas anyway.
