I don't think that I have one.
When it comes to what makes a movie character great, I don't necessarily look at the particular character him/her self. I look at the negative spaces around the character.
It's the acting that you don't see that makes the character.


And if that answer doesn't make any sense,
please take into account that I haven't gotten laid in like,
years.
I honestly just don't know what the fuck I'm talkin' 'bout.

I'd also like to say Jubal Early from Firefly, but that's just a TV series, not a movie.

Darth Vader(Star Wars) - The best bad guy in history of film.

Leon(The Professional) - Just the perfect character.

Lorenzo Anello(A Bronx Tale) - Just wanted to be a good father and he was.

My all-time favorite would have to be Nick Naylor from "Thank You For Smoking"... That role could have gone horribly wrong, likewise with the whole movie, but it's handled so well starting with Aaron Eckhart and going right through the cast (honorable mentions to Rob Lowe and Adam Brody... I hate Adam Brody usually, but this role was perfect for him)... But yeah, even with the strong cast, Eckhart owns that movie

Id have to agree about indy being Great, but you cant have a poll like this without giving Mr. Bond a mention, I mean yes Bond has been played by many people, but in a way its worked as they each brought something new to Bond, showed off another bit of 007 if you will....
m looking forward to seeing the new Bond but i am still unsure about the title Quantem Solice???!!!
For now lll be checking out the trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypuidVzdpPs until the release date...not a bad song used in this trailer either, although im unsure of whether or not its used in the film? Still I heard they are sill debating on who will sing the song, if Amy Winehouse is a definite???
