Paul
Paul is an upcoming Simon Pegg/ Nick Frost comedy about two British nerds who meet an alien named Paul while on an American Road Trip near Roswell New Mexico. The film also features Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Jane Lynch, Jason Bateman, and Seth Rogen (who will be playing Paul).
The movie is written by Frost and Pegg, and will not be part of the Pegg/ Wright "Blood and Ice Cream Trilogy". Greg Mottola from Superbad will be directing.

I personally am pretty damn excited about this movie, despite it not coming out until sometime next year. I absolutely loved both Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and even found both How To Lose Friends and Alienate People and Run Fatboy Run funny. The premise sounds right in Pegg's wheelhouse and the supporting cast is pretty damn good. Anyone else excited about this movie?

I think we can expect a lot of Star Wars and nerd humor in this movie. Which I am always down for since I loved Shuan of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. The thing is that How to lose friends was good but I felt it lacked any of Simon Pegg's charm. Which I can understand since I think Simon really didn't have a hand in creating that movie and Run Fat Boy Run was good for a rental movie which, I want to watch again suddenly as I am typing this...Still, the cast list sounds great since a lot of those people I find to be hilarious...I can't wait and thanks for the post.

I am quite intrested in what Pegg does, I didn't like Shaun of The Dead when it came out but upon revisiting it I thought it was Full Price, I loved Hot Fuzz also.
I also follow Simon Pegg's characterisation in THE BOYS (a comic which sells well in the U.K.).
Basically I see Simon Pegg as "one of us" and I hope Paul is a success.
I haven't seen How To Loose Friends and Alienate People but from the trailer / reviews it didn't look great so how did u find this film ?
