Video Game Movies
Alright so far we have been graced with the videogame adaptations of Hitman and Doom. Im just kidding they were shit. Anyway with the new and upcoming topics of Halo:The Movie (which was a garbage game nyway) And Gears of War: The Movie (best game ever fuck off if u dont like it.) So by what we've been given so far do you think these movies are worth making (besides the garunteed nerds who will pay top dollar love the movie just cause they wack off 2 the games) Or is it money poorly spent when ideas can go into making more fun and original movies?

I think the worst video game movie a studio could make would be SIMS: THE MOVIE lol or THE SIMS HOT DATE: THE MOVIE lol

well all you do is compare the last hulk movie to the new up coming incredible hulk which is much better than the last one and has received better reviews so there and from what iv heard of the new g.o.w film and snipits of the story line it sounds to be an excellent remake of the game and not all gamers jerk off to there games they just play them !

Have any of you ever even SEEN Metal Gear Solid? The series is perfect for a movie. The games are almost half cutscene already and they have guns. betrayals, and an awesome protagonist.

They all suck, they are ALL GOING TO SUCK.
And because they constantly take out the ONE thing that makes games fun to begin with.... the PARTICIPATION of the player. Remove the player from the game, and just tell the game's story, it sucks.

I've played Halo and never really got into it, but I think that its movie adaptation will be pretty awesome.
And yeah. Doom wasn't that great. But hey, I wasn't in it for the plot or storyline. All I wanted was graphic violence and Dwayne Johnson. lol

Gears of War is being directed by the Underworld films and Live Free or Die Hard director. Can't remember his name, but he makes great action films, and Gears of War is all about great action and violence.

why not make original movies? I don't think anybody really wants a Halo Movie. They're talking aboout making a Bioshock movie, and I'm praying the don't. I don't want to have my favorite game destroyed forever.
