The Spill Community has been live for only two weeks and I'm amazed by how many members we already have (over 600!). By my count, less than 5% are people whom I personally invited. I'd love to know how the rest of you even knew to look for us.
It was fairly recent and I already can't really remember. I think I just google'd something and it cam up. Now I'm here checking new and old reviews to see if you guys and your movie opinions are actually worth anything, ya know? Saved me from seeing that Clint/Jolie film so we'll see! The New Bond Review was funny!! Can't wait for the (2)3rd!
I was looking for an honost review for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and I was on youtube, I came across the review curously and liked it, btw it was a low-rental.
My brother is an aspiring director, I'm currently messing around with writing a script about a Marvel character. We always discuss movies like fiends.
One day my brother links me to a Spill review on youtube, since then, I made you guys the go to for a review. I can't trust my friends' judgements too much.
He also kept tellin' me that Korey and myself are cut from the same cloth.
Haha, stupidly, I actually found this from an April Fools joke.
I was doing some research on Cloverfield, looking up any possibility of a sequel. As an April Fools joke, one site was claiming that the guy who directed the Incredibles, was doing Cloverfield: The Animated Sequel. I was like, WHAT? and I did a little Googling to find the truth. Upon searching 'animated cloverfield' etc, I ended up linking to someone who had uploaded the Spill Review for Cloverfield. I laughed a lot, saw the tag at the end of the film, and visited Spill.com
I found it by accident honestly. I was looking for reviews of The Dark Knight on Youtube and stumbled upon your guy's review of it. That peaked my curiosity and I looked into more videos. One led to three, three led to six and eventually I decided to find the source material. The rest is history.
