The Spill Community has been live for only two weeks and I'm amazed by how many members we already have (over 600!). By my count, less than 5% are people whom I personally invited. I'd love to know how the rest of you even knew to look for us.
I was looking up 300 reviews to confirm my beliefs that it was completely badass movie. I saw the review of Spill and I thought it was pretty good, so then I went to the site and eventually signed up.

Trust me, Brinstar, we're not trying to be 'cool' in as much as I just don't like to do things the way they've been done.
All I could do is pull togther from any area I had an inkling of talent in and try to combine them with my love of movies and people and make what you see here now. I also wanted to create something where I could talk to people one on one, and not another site where the creators had no interaction with the users at all.
I'm sorry if we came across as phonies/posers/hipsters/man children or anything in between. Our humor and personalities might be a little exxagerrated sometimes, but in time I think you'll find there's a little honesty behind it all.
