The Spill Community has been live for only two weeks and I'm amazed by how many members we already have (over 600!). By my count, less than 5% are people whom I personally invited. I'd love to know how the rest of you even knew to look for us.
ok i had account named metal gear frank and after that it got lost. only later that i became biosaber. i dont know how i got here though. maybe youtube or google.
Stumble Upon on Firefox led me here. I saw a couple reviews and actually forgot about it. I stumbled upon it again, and was really hooked. I had to join.
I had just watched "The Mist" and thought the movie was horrible and stupid, I had to google other reviews. I refused to believe there were others out there that actually liked this steaming pile of horse shit.
You don't understand... I hated it. I want that 90+ minutes of my life back.
So I found spill on youtube. And found a review and a few other opinions all in one place. I was thrilled to find that I was not the only one person who thought that the movies characters (among other things) was flawed and that the ending was a pure Dick Slap.
I started watching movie reviews of another site, but realized that those two brother/sister duo didn't know a whole lot about movies. So I went around looking for better critics that could actually say something meaningful about a movie. I stumbled upon Revver.com and saw your guys' reviews of Prom Night and it was actually cool that somebody knew that this was a remake and a lousy one at that. Then I saw another review of "The Simpsons Movie" and Korey complained, why would somebody pay to go see a movie in a theater that they could see every week for free. It got me thinking, "Yeah, that's true."
I was looking for Knocked Up clips on Youtube in mid-2007 and found the Spillcom review. I lurked for about a year, downloading audio reviews, etc. then decided to join mid-August of 2008.
