To me it works. When she finds out *SPOILER ALERT* her daughter's still alive, combined with the horror of actually having been in a grave, she has no bloodlust left in her. On top of that, she cares a lot more about Bill than the others. She doesn't want to humilate him, but all the same she can't let him live after what he'd done. Another action sequence would've cheapened her character development.
Nope, don't buy it all. She's the MOST pissed at Bill. The only reason she doesn't run at him with the sword immediately is the shock of realizing her daughter is alive and not wanting to kill bill in front of her...like earlier with Copperhead. I don't see the no bloodlust part whatsoever either.

Months pass, and I buy the DVD and watch it again. Thinking about it more, the ending kinda made more sense.
But hey, that's just me. Everyone's got opinion the flick. The KB movies are great, but not everyone's gonna dig the ending.
Both Unbreakable and Kill Bill vol. 2 have great endings so those schmucks don't know shit about shit. If you wanna talk really bad endings...I think I only have to mention COLD MOUNTAIN. Satan help you if you actually had to watch the whole thing, let alone be subjected to the horrid ending. And yeah I think Randall in Clerks II fully describes how the LOTR trilogy goes.
