I'd have to say the most scarest movie I watched at a young age, was Stephen Kings IT, that clown was like a pissed off Ronald Mcdonald

Me too. IT and Poltergeist those freak me out the time. I remeber my dad always wave a balloon in my face saying "Its gonna get you" scared the shit out of me

I was terrified of "It", I watched it when I was 7, and I swear to God, after watching that movie I would crouch in fear whenever I saw a clown. Even now I have problems watching the film, but not with clowns, though I no longer find them funny, they're kind of annoying.
Another movie that didn't terrified me but did broke my bubble about how stories won't always have a happy ending was "Spellbinder", that movie is pretty hard if you watch it as child. I remember that when it finished I turned to my mother and I told her "But I don't get it, I thought the good guys would win", I was so heartbroken.

That damn Garbage Pail Kids movie gave me many a nightmare.

The other traumatising movie didn't give me nightmares, but just made me freak out. It's a scene many of us had in our childhoods....

Mom: Hey look Joshua, they have a movie of your favorite cartoon! The Toxic Avenger!

Of course, the movie and the cartoon aren't quite the same thing....

Sadly, one of the most freaky things I had seen as a kid in a movie-

There was this episode of Winnie the Pooh, or however you might spell the bears name. Anyway, there was an episode in which he bent over and the back of him ripped and after that, I couldn't watch it anymore. For some reason it really disturbed me.

There was this one animated movie, I think it was called 'Little Nemo.' Holy shit. There was this little kid flying around a bed, chanting something about pajamas, and he had a flying squirrel, and there was this old fucker on a train, and this evil mountain . . .

The whole thing comes back to me like some bad acid trip. I watched it when I was four, and it really messed me up. But it was one of those, "Ahh, I hate this, it scares me . . but lets watch it again, just to be sure . . ."

Oh, god, Little Nemo. I remember liking the movie, but the scene where the King is kidnapped and the crowd surrounds him and starts blaming him as creepily as they possibly could bothered me. I think there was something else later, too, but I forget.
